If you haven't heard the story about Lions, check it out on the websites
linked below. Essentially, Lions Club took up Helen Keller's call to become
"Knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness." We are most commonly
known for collecting used eyeglasses and redistributing them to needy persons.
We do much more though and support many local, state, national and international
causes. Check out our past Donations.
It's a great club that anyone can join and we help
local, national and even international causes. If you'd like to know more about
becoming a Lion or Lioness, contact us at
sbtesch@centurytel.net. If you'd like to make a donation to
Frederic Lions Club, Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Lions Clubs International,
or even have some used glasses to donate, bring them to the registration
table at the race.
